Discover the colorful and diverse artwork of the renowned Antiguan artist Frank Walter (1926 - 2009). In the exhibition: To Capture a Soul you will be provided insight into his relationship with race and identity, the legacy of slavery and the history of Antigua and Barbuda which is also at the very core of the seedwork craft.

The National Pavilion of Antigua and Barbuda featured intangible cultural heritage of the twin island nation, including seed work. Venetians were intrigued by the beautiful pieces, making connections between the intricate wild tamarind seed work to their tiny glass seed bead work made on the islands of Murano and Venice by impiraressas.
