A weeklong master class was held to teach local Antiguan youth about creating exotic works of art using local seed beads by the master seed work artisan of Antigua and Barbuda, Ms Louise Edwards.

Master Seedwork Artisans facilitated a personalized workshop to provide training for women interested in learning the craft. Also present at the workshop was Antigua and Barbuda Cultural Envoy, Dr Barbara Paca.

Mr Jules Walter Sr provided a historical perspective of the craft and its linkages to similar traditions in Africa and Italy.

Special guests included Susan Flaherty, Attorney at Law specializing in non-profit organizations law, and Kevin Quigley from the Fulbright Chronicle.
